Frances Doughty, LMFT
Frances is a licensed marriage and family therapist with a degree in prenatal and perinatal psychology. She works in community mental health with Contra Costa and Alameda County clients, as well as in private practice, identifying trauma and offering somatic modalities to promote healing from trauma.
The workshop will cover:
- Ways in which PAE (Prenatal Alcohol Exposure) affects the developing brain and nervous system
- Hallmarks of trauma
- Somatic (mind/body) practices to promote caregiver self-kindness
